Edward Jones has announced a new technology relationship with fixed income trading and portfolio management platform Moment and the completion of its acquisition of Natixis Investment Managers’ Overlay Management Services capabilities. The firm said the moves are designed to enhance its ability to deliver personalized, efficient, and holistic portfolio solutions at scale.
The partnership with Moment provides Edward Jones’ Fixed Income Trading area with access to fixed-income portfolio proposal tools and cash-flow optimization capabilities through Moment’s Portfolio Management System. The firm plans to extend direct access to these tools to financial advisors over time. The capability enables the generation of customized, immediately executable fixed-income portfolios within seconds, aligned with firm guidance and clients’ financial planning, risk, and cash-flow objectives.
Edward Jones said the technology replaces a previously manual and time-intensive process, increasing speed and precision while improving efficiency for advisors and outcomes for clients.
In addition, the firm recently closed on its acquisition of Natixis Investment Managers’ Overlay Management Services capabilities. The newly formed Edward Jones Overlay Management team now manages overlay services for the firm’s U.S.-based Unified Managed Accounts in-house, transitioning responsibilities that were previously outsourced to Natixis IM. The overlay services support tax-aware, diversified portfolio strategies aligned with Edward Jones’ comprehensive financial planning approach.
Together, the new relationship with Moment and the integration of overlay management services expand the firm’s internal capabilities and strengthen its portfolio construction framework. Edward Jones said the enhancements reflect its continued investment in modern tools and infrastructure to equip financial advisors to better serve clients’ long-term financial goals.
Edward Jones is a U.S. financial services firm and, through its Canadian affiliate, serves more than 9 million clients with $2.5 trillion in client assets under care as of December 31, 2025.
