Edward Jones recently announced plans to improve the experience for its high-net-worth clients through a series of strategic investments. These efforts are designed to provide a more tailored and comprehensive approach to wealth management, building upon the firm’s established legacy while embracing modern financial strategies. A key part of this initiative involves the creation of specialized physical locations, which are exclusively dedicated to serving high-net-worth individuals.

Additionally, the firm is strengthening its financial advisor support with new, advanced training programs and expanding its product offerings to facilitate greater portfolio diversification and tax optimization for these clients. Many of these enhancements are specifically designed to bolster Edward Jones Generations, the firm’s inaugural private client service, which officially debuted in May, providing a dedicated and elevated experience for its most affluent clients.

The new Generations hubs are meticulously designed with high-net-worth clients in mind, offering a welcoming and sophisticated environment. These spaces beautifully blend the rich history and essence of Edward Jones’ 103-year legacy with the contemporary elegance and personalized attention that defines the Edward Jones Generations service. The very first of these distinctive locations opened its doors in Scottsdale, Arizona, in August. Plans are already in motion for an additional hub to launch in St. Louis, Missouri, later this fall, followed by openings in West Palm Beach, Florida, in October, and Dallas, Texas, in early 2026. These hubs represent a tangible commitment to providing a superior client experience.

As Edward Jones deepens its commitment to serving more high-net-worth clients, it is also investing heavily in increasing practice management support for its financial advisors. Soon, Edward Jones will introduce a practical, hands-on program specifically crafted to assist selected advisors in effectively managing and growing their practices. This program will also significantly enhance their expertise in advanced financial planning and the complexities of various investment products. Participants in this program will benefit from invaluable opportunities to learn from external experts, receive personalized coaching, and engage in immersive in-person experiences, ultimately empowering them to provide even more sophisticated guidance to their high-net-worth clientele.

Furthermore, Edward Jones is diligently investing in a broader array of products specifically designed to help eligible high-net-worth clients diversify their investment portfolios and optimize their tax strategies. These innovative offerings include exchange funds, which are particularly useful for investors with substantial wealth concentrated in specific positions, as they can facilitate tax-efficient diversification. The firm is also implementing automated managed transitions within the Edward Jones Advisory Solutions Unified Managed Account (UMA) program. This feature supports a systematic and tax-smart, multi-year migration towards more optimal portfolios.

The expansion of alternative investments is another significant development, providing access to a greater number of managers and strategies within private markets. Moreover, Edward Jones is increasing the number of separately managed accounts (SMAs) offered through the Edward Jones Advisory Solutions UMA Models advisory program, including the introduction of a proprietary Equity Income SMA. And a private Donor Advised Fund (DAF) has been created specifically for substantial philanthropic contributions, offering donors enhanced flexibility and customization in terms of pricing and investment choices, allowing them to make a greater impact with their generosity.
