Egis has acquired RockSol Consulting Group, a Colorado-based transportation infrastructure firm, in a move that expands Egis’ presence across the Mountain States and Western United States. The deal adds a 240-person team specializing in engineering, planning, environmental compliance, design, construction management, inspection, and materials testing to Egis’ growing North American transportation portfolio.
RockSol, founded in 1996 and headquartered in Thornton, Colorado, has established a reputation for reliability and high-quality work across highway, bridge, transit, and public works projects. The company serves municipalities, counties, state Departments of Transportation, and federal civilian agencies throughout the Western region. RockSol’s addition comes as Egis continues accelerating its United States growth strategy, following its August 2025 merger with the Engineering News-Record Top 100 engineering firm Lochner.
Egis, which operates in 100 countries with more than 22,000 employees, has made North America one of its top long-term strategic priorities. The acquisition of RockSol further strengthens Egis’ portfolio as it aims to become a global Top Ten professional services firm.
