Ehrmann Family To Increase Artmarket.com Stake As Artprice Advances AI-First Transformation

Artmarket.com founder and CEO Thierry Ehrmann and his family plan to increase their ownership of the company as Artprice invests in proprietary vertical artificial intelligence technologies.

The company said the purchases are intended to demonstrate the family’s confidence in Artprice’s long-term growth and its AI-First strategy.

Groupe Serveur is already Artmarket.com’s majority shareholder.

Additional Artmarket.com shares are expected to be purchased within authorized trading windows, with regulatory disclosures filed through France’s AMF.

The company emphasized that the transactions are not intended to initiate a takeover bid or squeeze-out.

Board member Nadège Ehrmann has already acquired additional shares and filed required disclosures after her purchases exceeded an applicable regulatory threshold.

The increased investment coincides with the development of Artprice’s proprietary Intuitive Art Market and Blind Spot AI systems.

Artprice is building vertical AI tools around its historical art-market information and archives.

The company’s databases contain more than 30 million indices and auction results covering more than 915,300 artists, while its image database includes approximately 181 million digital images.

Artprice gathers information from approximately 7,200 auction houses and serves 9.3 million registered members.

Ehrmann has also completed an approximately 1,800-page work examining artificial intelligence from 1987 through the present, including roughly 450 pages addressing Artprice’s development and AI transformation.

An English version is scheduled for release in late August 2026, followed by a French edition in September.
