Encamp — an environmental, health, and safety (EHS) software platform — announced it raised $3.1 million in Series A funding led by Allos Ventures and High Alpha Capital with participation from IU Ventures.
The funds will be used to expand the development of the Encamp platform. And in connection with the investment, Allos Ventures managing director David Kerr and High Alpha partner Mike Fitzgerald will join the Encamp board of directors.
What does Encamp do? Encamp makes it easy to manage your EHS documents, deadlines, permits and tasks, all in one modern platform. And the Compliance Platform is an essential product in the Encamp EHS Suite, allowing users to get up-to-the-minute views of their entire compliance reporting schedule across the enterprise on a clean visual calendar that is synced to federal and state EHS databases to ensure accuracy.
Plus Encamp plans to further develop its platform this year — which will deliver a more comprehensive look at applicable regulations and requirements for EHS reporting with companies of all sizes and industries.
Encamp has been quickly becoming an integral and innovative solution for EHS professionals. And by streamlining environmental compliance reporting, companies can better understand, manage and comply with all requirements for business operations while enhancing accuracy and efficiency.
Launched in 2018, Encamp is currently the largest third-party filer of EPCRA Tier II reporting in the country. And they currently work with more than 170 customers, including American Tower Corporation, Nutrien Ag Solutions and Asmark Institute — tracking more than 10,000 compliance dates and managing more than 2,500 facilities across the country.
