EIS – Environmental Infrastructure Solutions announced it has acquired ARM Environmental Services, a Columbia, South Carolina-based environmental services firm known for underground storage tank and site rehabilitation work across the Southeast.
This acquisition expands EIS’ footprint across the Carolinas and strengthens its tank, remediation, and environmental consulting capabilities. ARM brings more than three decades of experience in underground and aboveground storage tank systems, environmental assessment, subsurface remediation, tank closure, and site rehabilitation.
Founded in 1991, ARM serves commercial, industrial, and government clients across South Carolina and Georgia. The company holds Class I and Class II UST Site Rehabilitation Contractor certifications and has completed thousands of tank-related projects. Its team includes professional geologists, certified drillers, and field technicians based in Columbia.
EIS now operates from 35 offices across 39 states with more than 1,000 employees. The company provides environmental consulting and compliance, surface and subsurface remediation, decontamination, abatement, and facility and infrastructure services nationwide.
By adding ARM to its platform, EIS is expanding its ability to support clients with complex underground storage tank projects, regulatory requirements, environmental due diligence, and broader site remediation needs across the Southeast.
