EIV Capital: $1.1 Billion Raised Across Fund V And Resources II To Expand Energy Investment Platform

EIV Capital announced the final closes of EIV Capital Fund V and EIV Resources II, raising approximately $1.1 billion in total capital commitments and bringing the firm’s total committed capital under management to around $3 billion.

Fund V is a value-add energy infrastructure fund focused on investments across the midstream sector, including the gathering, processing, transportation, storage, and marketing of oil, natural gas, and refined products. The fund will target opportunities that support growing demand for domestic energy infrastructure, particularly as reindustrialization and data center expansion increase energy needs.

EIV Resources II, the firm’s upstream investment fund, will focus on acquiring non-operated working interests in oil and gas wells across the United States. The strategy builds on EIV Capital’s prior experience investing alongside established operators in both producing and undeveloped assets.

Both funds attracted commitments from a broad base of institutional investors, including pension funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, family offices, and asset managers, reflecting continued interest in energy-focused private equity strategies.

The capital raise strengthens EIV Capital’s multi-strategy investment platform, enabling the firm to pursue opportunities across both infrastructure and upstream segments of the North American energy value chain.

Founded in 2009, EIV Capital combines operational, engineering, and financial expertise to invest in businesses that create value through infrastructure development and energy asset acquisition, positioning the firm to capitalize on long-term demand for reliable domestic energy systems.

KEY QUOTES:

“Reliable, domestic energy infrastructure is critical to our economic strength, and our strategy across prior funds demonstrates how to create value within this essential sector. Fund V focuses on value-add initiatives for our midstream customers while addressing a growing need for last-mile solutions for natural gas and power as reindustrialization and data center requirements continue to accelerate. We’re excited to deploy capital into opportunities that strengthen this vital infrastructure.”
