Eldridge Closes $75 Million Sale-Leaseback With Global Chemical Producer

Eldridge Capital Management has completed a $75 million sale-leaseback transaction with an unnamed global producer of chemical inputs used across consumer and industrial products.

The financing is secured by selected production equipment at the chemical company’s flagship North American facility. Proceeds will support debt reduction, increased liquidity and operational improvements across the company’s global manufacturing network.

In a sale-leaseback transaction, a company sells equipment or other assets to a financing provider and leases them back for continued use. The structure allows the business to unlock capital tied up in mission-critical assets without interrupting operations.

The chemical producer operates across six continents and is one of the largest vertically integrated suppliers of materials used in paints, coatings, plastics, paper, inks, ceramics and other industrial applications.

Vertical integration means the company controls multiple stages of its production process. This structure can provide greater control over supply, costs, product quality and manufacturing continuity.

Eldridge said the transaction addressed a distinct set of financing requirements and was completed on an accelerated schedule. The company’s scale and asset base allowed Eldridge to structure a lease supported by equipment essential to the borrower’s operations.

The transaction was completed through Eldridge’s Diversified Credit Platform, which invests across asset-based, corporate and structured credit. Its asset-based strategy provides loans and leases secured by income-producing and operationally important assets.

Eldridge finances equipment and other assets across manufacturing, energy, power, maritime transportation, chemicals, metals, technology, aviation and rail. The firm said it has originated more than $18 billion in asset-based transactions since 2015.

Eldridge described its operation as the largest private, independent equipment finance platform in North America based on assets and origination volume as of 2026.
