Elucid Raises $55 Million Series D As Total Funding Reaches $185 Million

Elucid has raised $55 million in an oversubscribed Series D financing, bringing total funding for the AI-powered cardiovascular imaging company to approximately $185 million.

The round includes a new investment from an unidentified large medical technology company, becoming Elucid’s fourth publicly traded strategic investor.

Other new and existing investors include IAG Capital Partners and Elevage Medical Technologies, a platform created by Patient Square Capital.

Elucid plans to use the financing to accelerate commercialization of its cardiovascular imaging platform, including Plaque-IQ and BioIntegrated FFR-CT, while supporting additional AI research and clinical studies.

The company’s FFR-CT 510(k) submission is currently under FDA review.

Plaque-IQ is already FDA cleared and is designed to quantify high-risk plaque types and plaque composition in coronary and carotid arteries using non-invasive imaging.

Elucid is developing an integrated platform combining plaque biology, vessel anatomy and FFR physiology to help clinicians assess cardiovascular risk and personalize treatment strategies.
