Ema, a Mountain View, California-based developer of enterprise AI agents, has raised a $77 million Series B led by Creaegis, with existing investors Accel, S32, and Prosus increasing their investments. The financing brings Ema’s total funding to $140 million and more than quadruples its valuation compared with its previous funding round. The company plans to expand its go-to-market organization and accelerate development of its AI Employee platform, which automates business operations across human resources, information technology, and finance.

The financing follows a period of rapid commercial growth as Ema expands deployments of its autonomous AI technology among large enterprises.

The company reported that its revenue has increased 50-fold over the past 24 months, with customers typically doubling their contract value as they expand from an initial deployment to two or three additional use cases.

Every major existing investor participated in the Series B with a larger investment than in previous rounds.

Ema intends to use the new capital to strengthen its sales and business development capabilities while continuing to invest in its enterprise AI platform.

The company’s technology is designed to help organizations move beyond experimental AI applications and deploy autonomous agents capable of performing operational work across existing enterprise software systems.

Its platform provides purpose-built AI Employees for HR, IT, and finance, enabling businesses to automate multistep processes that would otherwise require employees to navigate several applications and complete repetitive administrative tasks.

Unlike conventional AI assistants that primarily provide information or generate responses, Ema’s AI Employees are designed to plan and execute work, interact with enterprise applications, verify results, route necessary approvals, and complete business processes.

Human employees retain oversight of critical decisions, allowing organizations to maintain governance and control over sensitive operations.

Ema’s platform integrates with more than 250 business applications and systems of record, enabling its agents to operate within existing enterprise technology environments.

The company has developed a product-led deployment model intended to reduce dependence on lengthy, services-intensive implementations.

Customers can begin by deploying AI Employees within a single business function and subsequently expand into additional departments while maintaining a unified technology platform.

For example, an organization might initially use Ema to automate IT support requests before introducing additional agents to handle HR inquiries, employee onboarding, or finance-related workflows.

Ema reports that its AI Employees are already operating in production environments at Fortune 500 scale, supporting millions of interactions annually.

In one deployment involving a top-five global IT services company, Ema powers an employee assistant serving more than 240,000 associates across 65 countries.

The system automates more than 100 workflows and processes approximately 2.9 million employee queries annually.

According to Ema, the deployment reduced response times from days to seconds and increased employee satisfaction by 20%.

It also eliminated the need to create approximately 60% of support tickets, while enabling the organization’s people operations team to operate with approximately 50% fewer resources.

Another deployment involving a top-five global business process outsourcing company demonstrates Ema’s capabilities in large-scale IT service management.

Its AI Employees process more than one million IT service management tickets annually and handle more than one million calls across over 15 languages.

The company reported that this deployment achieves up to 95% accuracy, with fewer than 10% of interactions requiring escalation to a human employee.

Ema also highlighted its deployment at a $50 billion global conglomerate, where its platform progressed from initial development to production in four weeks.

The implementation integrated with more than 20 enterprise systems and currently supports over 40,000 employees.

According to Ema, the deployment produced a 70% efficiency improvement while reducing support ticket volume by 30%.

These customer results form part of the company’s broader strategy to demonstrate how autonomous AI can be deployed in production environments rather than remaining limited to pilot programs.

Ema’s customers and enterprise relationships include Wipro, Hitachi, ADP, and PwC.

Its platform also supports applications extending beyond internal HR, IT, and finance operations into customer service, sales, and industry-specific business processes.

The company’s technology combines AI reasoning with enterprise governance, security, and compliance capabilities intended to support deployment across complex corporate environments.

Ema recently introduced its HR, IT, and Finance Hub, providing prebuilt AI Employees designed to help organizations deploy automated business processes more quickly.

The company also appointed Jonathan Feldman as Head of Revenue, Partnerships, and Solutions in August 2026, strengthening its commercial leadership ahead of the latest funding round.

The Series B will provide additional resources to expand Ema’s customer base, invest in product development, and increase adoption of its AI Employees among enterprises seeking to automate business-critical operations.

KEY QUOTES:

“Enterprises do not need more software. They need work to get done. Our customers are not running experiments; they are running their HR, IT and Finance operations on AI Employees at a scale of millions of interactions a year. This round lets us bring that to many more enterprises still stuck in the pilot stage.”
