emagine announced it has signed an agreement to acquire Waada The Movement, a Netherlands-based consultancy focused on business transformation, data, and software development, in a move designed to deepen emagine’s advisory bench and strengthen end-to-end delivery for complex digital programs.
The transaction remains subject to customary employee information procedures and applicable regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2004, Waada employs more than 400 professionals and works with enterprise organizations on large-scale transformation initiatives spanning AI adoption, data modernization, and software engineering. emagine said Waada’s model—pairing strategy work with deep technical execution—will reinforce emagine’s positioning as a full-service partner that can support clients from early advisory through delivery at scale.
emagine expects Waada to contribute approximately €40 million in annual revenue, adding additional scale to a consulting platform that currently serves more than 500 enterprise clients globally. The company said it has roughly 5,000 consultants on active assignments across 13 countries, supported by a professional network of more than 500,000 specialists worldwide.
Waada operates two brands: Prowareness, which supports Dutch organizations with transformation and change initiatives in areas such as Agile, Lean, and AI; and DevOn, which provides digital engineering and software development through a distributed delivery model. DevOn’s operations include teams in the UK and the Netherlands, as well as a substantial offshore hub in Bengaluru, India. emagine said that footprint would complement its existing nearshore strengths in Poland, Portugal, and Romania as it continues to expand its “bestshoring” delivery approach.
Executives from both companies characterized the deal as a strategic fit driven by growing customer demand for combined advisory and execution capabilities—particularly as enterprises accelerate AI-related change programs. emagine said it will share additional details after completion, subject to regulatory and employee information requirements.
