Embark has appointed Naseem Anzari as chief financial officer to lead the consulting firm’s financial strategy, operations and investment in growth.
Anzari will oversee Embark’s financial infrastructure as the company expands organically and through acquisitions. He will also play a central role in evaluating and executing the firm’s acquisition strategy. And he will be based in Embark’s San Diego office.
Anzari most recently served as CFO of Lido Advisors, where he helped the wealth management company grow fourfold and complete multiple acquisitions.
He previously served as CFO of Sound United and worked as a consultant at Accordion. Earlier in his career, he held portfolio operations positions at Terra Firma and Phoenix Equity Partners and began his career at KPMG.
Embark said Anzari’s experience building finance functions for private equity-backed professional services companies will support the firm’s next stage of expansion.
The company provides financial, technology and business consulting services related to accounting, transactions, transformation, risk and compliance.
Embark has more than 800 employees working across over 40 markets nationwide.
