Embraer reported a backlog of $34.5 billion in the second quarter of 2026, marking its seventh consecutive quarterly record, up 7 percent from the first quarter of 2026 and 16 percent higher than the same period last year.
In Commercial Aviation, the backlog totaled $15.1 billion, up 15 percent year over year, driven by Azorra’s new order for 15 E195-E2 aircraft, which pushed the E2 program past 500 firm orders across customers on all continents. During the Farnborough Airshow, Embraer disclosed Fuji Dream Airlines as the previously undisclosed customer behind an order for two E175 aircraft already reflected in the backlog. The segment ended the quarter with a 1.8x book-to-bill ratio over the trailing 12 months.
In Executive Aviation, the order backlog rose to $7.8 billion, up 5 percent from the second quarter of 2025, supported by the triple certification of the new Praetor 600E and Praetor 500E models, introduced in 2026 and now certified by Brazil’s ANAC, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency. The segment posted a 1.1x book-to-bill ratio over the trailing 12 months.
In Defense & Security, the backlog reached $6.1 billion, up 42 percent year over year, driven by an agreement with the United Arab Emirates for the C-390 Millennium involving 10 firm orders and 10 options, representing the largest international order from a single country for the aircraft and marking its entry into the Middle East market. The segment reported a 2.6x book-to-bill ratio over the trailing 12 months.
The Services & Support backlog also reached a record $5.5 billion, up 12 percent compared with the second quarter of 2025. During the quarter, the business unit announced a long-term support agreement with Jazz Aviation, which became the first Canadian customer to join Embraer’s Collaborative Inventory Planning program, along with a new support agreement covering the Brazilian Air Force’s KC-390 Millennium fleet, including aircraft already in service and future deliveries. The segment ended the quarter with a 1.3x book-to-bill ratio over the trailing 12 months.
