Emergent announced it has reached $100 million in annual run rate in just eight months, positioning itself among the fastest-growing vibe coding platforms. The milestone comes alongside the launch of Emergent AI, the company’s new mobile app that lets users build and publish software directly from their smartphones.
According to the company, ARR doubled from $50 million to $100 million in a single month. More than six million builders across 190+ countries have created over 7 million apps on the platform, supporting a range of real-world businesses and workflows.
Emergent aims to lower the traditional barriers to software development, including lengthy development cycles, high costs, and limited access to engineering talent. With the majority of American adults owning smartphones, the company said its mobile launch expands access to software creation for millions domestically and billions globally.
Through Emergent AI, users can move from idea to a fully functional application and publish directly to the App Store and Google Play. The platform is designed to enable founders, small and medium-sized business owners, and consultants to iterate quickly, including while traveling or immediately after customer interactions.
The company said more than 10,000 mobile apps have already been built and shipped through early access. The mobile app allows users to start projects via voice command, transition seamlessly between mobile and desktop environments with unified editing, and create production-ready websites, mobile apps, and SaaS platforms from day one.
The announcement follows Emergent’s $70 million Series B round, bringing total funding to $100 million. Investors include Khosla Ventures, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Lightspeed, Prosus, Together, Y Combinator, and Google’s AI Futures Fund.
Founded in 2025, Emergent positions itself as a platform that enables anyone to build full-stack, production-ready applications using autonomous AI agents, with a mission to broaden access to software creation beyond traditional technical audiences.
