EnableComp Acquires H/ROI To Build A More Comprehensive Platform For Complex Revenue Recovery

EnableComp announced it has acquired Health Resources Optimization, Inc. (H/ROI), adding specialized clinical denials and revenue recovery capabilities to help hospitals recapture revenue lost to some of the most difficult denial types. The deal is intended to strengthen EnableComp’s complex revenue cycle offering, particularly around DRG downgrades, medical-necessity denials, and post-bill DRG validation.

The company said the acquisition expands the revenue it can capture for provider clients by combining H/ROI’s clinical denials expertise with EnableComp’s technology and scale. EnableComp described the combined approach as better suited to current market conditions, as health systems face sustained margin pressure, higher denial rates, and heightened payer scrutiny.

EnableComp said integration has progressed quickly, with the combined organization already delivering deeper clinical insights and more accurate processes in complex areas of the revenue cycle. The company said its Complex Revenue Intelligence (CRI) approach is designed to surface revenue risk and guide recovery across clinical denials and other complex revenue gaps.

EnableComp said it serves more than 1,000 hospitals and recovers about $3 billion annually, using its e360 RCM platform to identify underpayments earlier and accelerate resolution for complex claims, denials, and revenue recovery work. The company said it plans to increase investment in clinical expertise and specialized technology to help providers protect margins and improve financial stability.
