Enartis, a leading company of the Esseco Group and a global pioneer in oenological products and technologies, announced the signing of a preliminary agreement to buy 100% of Parsec, an Italian center of excellence based in Sesto Fiorentino (Florence) known for its advanced and integrated control systems for the wine industry.
The deal subject to completion of required legal procedures in Italy, is set to form an international powerhouse in the field of technologically advanced, integrated wine production solutions.
The combination of Enartis and Parsec will create an unprecedented global player offering wineries comprehensive and intelligent management of production processes from grape reception to bottling within a single digital ecosystem. The integration unites Enartis’ oenological solutions with Parsec’s innovative automation and process control technologies, setting a new benchmark for efficiency, quality, and sustainability in winemaking.
This agreement follows Enartis’ 2023 acquisition of the Portuguese company Winegrid, marking another strategic step in its mission to build a fully integrated platform for modern oenology. The resulting group will become a globally unique hub of expertise, capable of supporting wineries worldwide with tools that optimize production performance, ensure sustainability, and elevate the sensory quality of wine.
Under the future structure, Giuseppe Floridia will continue to serve as CEO of Parsec, working closely with Enartis’ leadership and the existing Parsec team. His continued role ensures that Parsec’s technical excellence and culture of innovation remain at the heart of the new partnership.
