Endeavor Health has announced the acquisition of Diamond Headache Clinic, one of the nation’s most established centers for headache and migraine treatment. The integration will form the Endeavor Health Diamond Headache & Migraine Center, expanding access to advanced neurological care across the Midwest and the U.S.
Founded in 1974 by Dr. Seymour Diamond, the clinic has been a pioneer in comprehensive headache and migraine treatment for more than 40 years. Through a multidisciplinary model that combines medical, physical, and psychological approaches, Diamond has treated thousands of patients while advancing groundbreaking clinical research that helped secure FDA approval for numerous migraine therapies.
With this acquisition, Endeavor Health strengthens its Neurosciences Institute, already nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Report, and reinforces its position as a leader in highly specialized neurological care. The organization said the move enhances its ability to provide innovative, coordinated, and accessible care to patients both locally and nationally.
The Endeavor Health Diamond Headache & Migraine Center will operate from two main outpatient offices — one in Chicago at 1460 N. Halsted St., and another on the campus of Endeavor Health Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview. Patients who require inpatient care will be treated at a state-of-the-art facility at Northwest Community Hospital (NCH) in Arlington Heights, one of only three dedicated inpatient headache programs in the U.S. and five worldwide.
Diamond’s physicians and advanced practice providers offer a wide array of treatment options, including acupuncture, biofeedback, Botox, infusions, dietary counseling, nerve blocks, injectable and oral medications, physical therapy, massage, and psychological support. Its research department continues to pioneer new therapeutic approaches to migraine and headache management.
The acquisition marks the latest step in Endeavor Health’s expansion of its neurosciences services, following the establishment of a dedicated Neuro Intensive Care Unit, epilepsy monitoring unit, stroke follow-up clinic, and expanded sleep lab at NCH.
