Energy Overwatch has completed the acquisition of Texas-based Porosity. This move strengthens the company’s ability to deliver a unified and more technologically advanced compliance and operational intelligence platform for oil and gas operators. The deal brings Porosity’s digital workflow engine, data-integration capabilities, and AI-driven variance detection tools directly into Energy Overwatch’s software ecosystem and field services network.

The Denver-based compliance software provider said the acquisition accelerates its long-term strategy to combine regulatory management, field performance data, and real-time insights within a single, scalable system. With Porosity’s engineering team and AI stack joining Energy Overwatch, customers will gain enhanced predictive analytics, better visibility across assets, and a more connected operational environment that supports compliance, emissions management, and daily field execution.

Porosity’s technology is built to unify SCADA inputs, emissions signals, production data, and automated workflows, enabling operators to identify irregularities faster and eliminate data fragmentation that slows operational decision-making. These capabilities will now be embedded into Energy Overwatch’s existing SEMS tools, regulatory reporting applications, and emissions management software. The combined platform is expected to serve upstream, midstream, and downstream operators nationwide, with expanded teams in Colorado, Texas, Louisiana, and significant production basins.

Energy Overwatch said the integration of Porosity’s platform will allow operators to streamline compliance requirements while improving performance analytics and achieving real-time operational intelligence. The company will maintain its headquarters in Greenwood Village, Colorado, following the transaction.
