Engineering Resource Group, a Godspeed Capital Management-backed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, consulting, and design firm, has acquired Haltom Engineering, a Memphis-based MEP engineering consulting firm specializing in mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection design. The deal marks ERG’s first add-on acquisition and extends its geographic reach and technical depth across the Southern United States.
Founded in 2005, Haltom has built a two-decade track record delivering technically demanding projects across Tennessee and the broader Mid-South. The firm serves a recurring client base spanning higher education, healthcare, cultural and civic institutions, and commercial clients, with recognized expertise in net-zero and energy-efficient building systems designed to materially reduce or eliminate outside energy demand for complex facilities. With the addition of Haltom, ERG expands its capabilities across education, government and defense, energy, healthcare, industrial, and commercial end markets.
