Ensis: Proposal Software Company Raises $4 Million To Help Organizations Win More Government Contracts

By Amit Chowdhry • Mar 29, 2024

Ensis – a company developing AI-powered proposal software to help companies respond to and win more government contracts – announced it had raised an oversubscribed $4 million seed round co-led by NextGen Venture Partners and Tau Ventures, with participation from Grep VC, Innovation Global, and Gaingels.

Launched by Ben Lewis and Jon Sockell, Ensis enables companies in highly regulated public sectors, such as healthcare, finance, defense, education, and others, to respond more efficiently to solicitations.

Winning government contracts requires responding to long and complex RFPs, Requests for Proposals. And Ensis dramatically accelerates the time it takes to craft compelling bids, allowing proposal teams to focus on forward-thinking ways to grow their pipeline and win more business.

Ensis works with clients to train a reference library that is securely stored and siloed. This training enables Ensis to incorporate the company’s unique capabilities and writing style. Clients can then import new RFPs and other opportunities into Ensis, which can then parse, organize, and draft responses to each section appropriately.
