Ensorcia Group To Acquire Argentina Wildcats To Expand Lithium Development Program

Ensorcia Group Holdings has entered into an agreement to acquire Argentina Wildcats, expanding its lithium holdings and advancing the company’s Kati 1 development program in Argentina.

Under the agreement, Ensorcia plans to acquire 100% of Argentina Wildcats’ outstanding membership interests for cash, with additional contingent consideration. Completion remains subject to customary legal review and other closing conditions.

Ensorcia said the transaction follows due diligence and flow testing conducted on the property and an evaluation of brine samples, including testing performed by International Battery Metals. The acquisition is intended to add additional resources and strategic flexibility to Ensorcia’s lithium-development plans in Argentina.

The former project owner is expected to become part of Ensorcia’s Kati 1 development program, which uses International Battery Metals’ direct lithium extraction technology under a licensing arrangement for Argentina. Ensorcia plans to integrate the property with its broader Argentina holdings as part of a consolidated resource-development strategy.

Ensorcia is a privately held company focused on the acquisition and development of lithium resources and associated processing capabilities in South America. The company is pursuing projects intended to support lithium supply for batteries and other applications as demand for energy-storage materials expands.

Taken together, the transaction gives Ensorcia Group a broader operating or investment platform while preserving the capabilities that made the acquired or partner business attractive in the first place. The companies described the combination as a way to add scale, expertise, technology, customers, or geographic reach without changing the core focus of the underlying business. Integration and continued expansion are expected to be the main priorities following the transaction.

KEY QUOTES:
