EP Wealth Advisors, a fee-only registered investment advisor, has partnered with Capital Insight Partners (CIP), a Scottsdale-based wealth management firm overseeing more than $730 million in assets under management, as EP Wealth continues to build out its presence in Arizona.
Founded in 2008, CIP serves private clients and employer-sponsored retirement plans, emphasizing long-term relationships and a personalized service model. EP Wealth said the partnership reflects a close cultural fit, with both firms focused on a client-centric planning approach and a consistent service experience as client needs evolve.
As part of the transition, nine members of the CIP team will join EP Wealth, adding capacity across private wealth management and retirement plan services. CIP co-founder Susan Anastasiadis is joining EP Wealth as a senior vice president, providing continuity for clients and helping integrate the team into EP Wealth’s broader platform.
EP Wealth said CIP clients will maintain the same day-to-day advisory relationships while gaining access to a larger set of resources across planning and investments. The combined offering is expected to broaden support in areas such as financial planning, tax and estate planning coordination, portfolio construction, and specialized planning needs, while keeping the existing CIP advisory team at the center of the client relationship.
Within EP Wealth’s operating structure, the CIP team will become part of the firm’s Arizona region, led by regional directors M.J. Nodilo and Adrian Larson. The addition follows EP Wealth’s recent partnership activity in the state, including a partnership with Clearview Wealth Advisors announced in December 2025. EP Wealth noted that it has added multiple teams in Arizona since 2019, positioning the state as a strategic growth market within its national footprint.
The transaction was led by Kyle Miller, EP Wealth’s managing director of partnerships. Financial and legal terms were not disclosed.
The deal also marks EP Wealth’s first partnership announcement of 2026, after the firm completed nine partnerships in 2025. EP Wealth said it expects continued momentum in its partnership strategy, which has focused on expanding geographically while bringing on teams that fit its client-service and fiduciary model.
EP Wealth, headquartered in Torrance, California, reports more than 63 offices across 23 states and said it managed over $40.5 billion in assets as of September 30, 2025. The firm is led by Chairman and CEO Ryan Parker and is backed by minority equity investors Berkshire Partners and Ares Management.
