ERT, a Macquarie Capital–backed digital engineering and mission services company, announced it has acquired Sev1Tech, a digital modernization and IT transformation partner supporting complex space, defense and national security initiatives.
The acquisition enhances ERT’s ability to deliver secure, mission-aligned digital solutions that support modernization, resilience and operational effectiveness for government customers operating in highly regulated mission environments. By integrating Sev1Tech’s expertise, ERT aims to broaden its capabilities across space, defense and federal civilian agencies while deepening its presence in mission-critical IT and digital engineering.
Sev1Tech is recognized for helping government organizations modernize legacy systems, strengthen cyber resilience and accelerate digital adoption across complex enterprise environments. Through the combination, Sev1Tech’s personnel will continue supporting existing customers while contributing to expanded IT and digital engineering offerings within ERT’s broader platform.
The deal reflects ERT’s ongoing investment strategy focused on integrating digital modernization capabilities into mission engineering and operational support across the space and defense enterprise.

Macquarie Capital completed an investment in ERT in 2024 to help drive growth and expand the company’s client base.
