eSleuth AI announced the appointment of former United States Secret Service Director Julia Pierson to the company’s Advisory Board as the company expands its AI-driven investigative technology platform for law enforcement agencies.

The company said Pierson brings more than three decades of law enforcement, operational leadership, and technology modernization experience to support eSleuth AI’s efforts to help agencies automate investigations and accelerate case resolution using artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Pierson previously served as the 23rd Director of the United States Secret Service and was the first woman to lead the agency. During her tenure, she oversaw operational and technology modernization initiatives across a global workforce of approximately 7,000 personnel.

Her career with the Secret Service included assignments on presidential protective details for Presidents George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama.

According to eSleuth AI, Pierson also led initiatives focused on deploying technology systems designed to improve threat mitigation, operational effectiveness, and information sharing capabilities within the agency.

Following her government career, Pierson founded Secure23, a security and management consulting firm focused on public safety technology and security modernization.

The company said Pierson has also presented on terrorism and targeted violence issues for organizations including the National Police Foundation, John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and Harvard University’s National Preparedness Leadership Initiative.

eSleuth AI develops CJIS-compliant investigative tools designed to help investigators evaluate evidence, identify suspects, connect related cases, and prioritize investigative resources using AI-powered analytics.

The company said Pierson’s appointment further strengthens its advisory board as law enforcement agencies increasingly adopt AI-powered investigative platforms to address growing caseloads and operational constraints.

KEY QUOTES:

“Investigators today are being asked to do more with less while cases and data multiply. The agencies that close that gap will be the ones that embrace technology that works in the field. eSleuth AI is building AI for law enforcement to solve crimes faster, and I’m proud to help advance that mission.”

Julia Pierson, Former Director, United States Secret Service

“Julia Pierson has spent her career at the intersection of law enforcement operations and technology innovation. She understands both the demands investigators face every day and what it takes to deploy technology that performs under real-world conditions. Her perspective will be invaluable as we scale.”
