Ethos Capital has appointed Marc Puglia as Partner and Chief Financial Officer, strengthening its senior leadership team as the firm continues to expand its global alternative asset management platform.
Puglia joins the firm with more than 25 years of experience in alternative asset management, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director at PSG Equity and Providence Equity Partners. During his tenure at Providence, he played a key role in launching and scaling PSG Equity, helping grow the business to approximately $30 billion in assets under management over a 12-year period while establishing its financial, operational, and governance foundations.
Based in Boston, Ethos Capital oversees approximately $5 billion in assets under management and focuses on majority and minority investments in middle-market companies across North America and Europe. The firm said the appointment reflects its evolution into a new phase of institutional growth as it expands its investment activity, capital base, and global relationships.
In his new role, Puglia will oversee all aspects of the firm’s financial operations and strategy. He will also contribute to the investment process and support operational value-creation initiatives across the portfolio companies as part of the senior leadership team.
