Eurazeo announced the final closing of Eurazeo Private Debt VII (EPD VII), its flagship direct lending fund, at a record €3.9 billion, exceeding its initial €3 billion fundraising target. The fundraise underscores continued investor demand for exposure to the European lower mid-market and reflects strong support from both institutional and private wealth investors.

With the completion of EPD VII, Eurazeo’s seventh private debt program reached a total size of €5.5 billion, including nearly €1 billion raised through private wealth channels as well as institutional mandates and commitments. International investors accounted for more than 60% of commitments, highlighting growing interest from North American and Asian investors seeking diversified access to European private debt opportunities.

The fund is already 65% deployed, with approximately €2.5 billion invested across more than 70 European companies. EPD VII follows Eurazeo Private Debt VI, which closed at €2.3 billion in 2023. Eurazeo’s Private Debt platform now manages more than €11 billion in assets, representing roughly 29% of the firm’s total assets under management.

The private debt strategy is supported by teams located across Paris, London, Frankfurt, Milan, Madrid, and Stockholm, enabling the firm to source and execute investments throughout Europe’s lower mid-market segment.
