EVE Raises $2 Million To Launch Inbox-Based Revenue Engine For SMBs

EVE, a platform designed to help small B2B businesses recover revenue hidden in daily emails, announced it has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding. The round was led by Firsthand.VC with participation from a16z’s Scout Fund, Acquisition.com Ventures, Geek Ventures, Founders Future, Punch Capital, Silicon Gardens, and several notable angel investors, including the co-founders of Slack and Hugging Face and the former CEO of Oura. The funding will support product development and expand EVE’s rollout to the hundreds of small businesses currently on its waitlist, with plans to scale to thousands in the coming months.

EVE functions as an always-active revenue engine that integrates directly with business email and calendar systems to track real-time revenue engagement. The platform identifies new opportunities, resurfaces leads that may have been forgotten, drafts context-aware follow-ups, and provides insight into active and stalled deals. This eliminates the need for manual CRM updates or workflow changes while enabling small businesses to recover an estimated 20 to 30 percent of lost revenue typically buried in day-to-day communications.

More than 500 small businesses joined EVE’s waitlist during its stealth period, and early adopters have already begun converting inbox traffic into measurable revenue gains. The company notes that up to 80% of SMB operations occur via email. Yet, the majority of valuable interactions are not captured in traditional CRM systems, which limits visibility and follow-through. EVE is designed to fill this gap seamlessly and begins generating insights within minutes of integration.

The platform is positioned for industries where email volume directly correlates with revenue potential, including consulting, construction, distribution, recruiting, brokerage services, and event management. Future product releases are planned to expand capabilities into multi-channel lead tracking, churn risk detection, and upsell prediction, supporting a more autonomous revenue workflow for SMBs.

KEY QUOTES:

“CRMs were built for people who have time for managing them. Small businesses don’t have time for all of this, starting with manual data entry. EVE lives inside email and calendar and does the work for you autonomously, turning everyday conversations into a single live revenue machine where nothing gets lost.”

“Building on the idea of revenue intelligence, EVE adds autonomous execution and visibility. It doesn’t just tell teams what to do; it helps them do it – learning from every connected inbox to build a single live dashboard of all revenue activity across the company – making it easy to see what’s moving, what’s stalled, and what’s being missed.”

“That journey exposed how much value was being lost inside inboxes. EVE is the AI Inbox Revenue Engine designed to fix that.”

Vadim Rogovskiy, CEO and Co-Founder of EVE

“I didn’t realize how much revenue was buried in our inbox until EVE started identifying it and helping us to close it. In just three months, we closed 25% more deals with the same team and no workflow changes.”

Josh Hess, VP of Business Development at Leadature

“I back people first, and Vadim has shown exceptional clarity in navigating this market. Having helped build Salesforce’s Einstein platform, I can say EVE is reimagining CRM from the ground up – bringing automation and intelligence to the businesses that need it most.”
