Ever: $31 Million Series A Raised For AI-Native Auto Retail Platform

Ever, an AI-native, full-stack auto retail company, emerged from stealth with an oversubscribed $31 million Series A round. The round was led by Eclipse with participation from Lifeline Ventures, Ibex Investors, Maki VC, Joint Effects, JIMCO, and the Jameel Family’s investment arm. Ever said the financing brings its total funding to approximately $100 million across equity and debt facilities.

The company is positioning its platform as a replacement for fragmented legacy systems in the U.S. auto retail market, which it estimates at $1.2 trillion. Ever said the sector remains burdened by manual processes, outdated third-party software, and operational fragmentation, and that the industry’s shift toward electric vehicles has added complexity in areas such as inventory management, battery health, and consumer education.

Ever said its proprietary operating system uses AI to automate and orchestrate workflows across sourcing, pricing, merchandising, sales, and vehicle operations. The company said this enables a faster and more flexible omnichannel experience, allowing customers to buy or sell online, complete transactions in person, or move between the two. Ever also said its operating model is designed to support a national-scale EV offering and that its sales team’s productivity is three times the used-car industry average.

Ever said it currently has a live operation in San Francisco and has served thousands of customers across 40 states. The company said the new capital will be used to scale engineering, expand operational capabilities, and accelerate nationwide growth.

As part of the financing, Eclipse partner Jiten Behl joined Ever’s board, and Eclipse partner and Head of Growth Joe Fath joined as a board observer.

KEY QUOTES:

“Despite the size and importance of the U.S. auto retail sector, the industry has struggled with modern consumer journeys and the daily operational complexity. We rebuilt the system with AI at the core. Today, that approach is powering real transactions, with a live operation in San Francisco and thousands of customers across 40 different states and counting. The result is a more flexible and transparent customer experience and a business model that performs at scale.”

Lasse-Mathias Nyberg, Co-Founder and CEO, Ever

“Auto retail is a complex, unforgiving business where small inefficiencies compound quickly to erode economics and customer experience. Ever’s end-to-end AI-native platform is an industry-first for the auto market, enabling scalability while maintaining disciplined economics and putting the customer experience first.”
