Eversheds Sutherland has bolstered its international practice with the appointment of two new partners, Ben Peecock and Anne-Marie Lacoste, marking another milestone in the firm’s continued global growth across advisory, disputes, and sector-focused practices. Both partners joined the firm on November 3, 2025.
Peecock joins Eversheds Sutherland’s Construction team from DLA Piper, bringing over 20 years of experience advising on major civil engineering and infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on green energy and nationally significant developments. His experience spans energy (nuclear and renewables), transport, manufacturing, life sciences, real estate, and finance.
Peecock is known for his deep expertise in NEC, FIDIC, IChemE, JCT, and bespoke EPC contracts. He has delivered major clean energy projects in regions such as the Nordics, Serbia, and Kenya and has built a wide professional network across more than 30 jurisdictions.
Lacoste joins the International Arbitration team in Paris from Quinn Emanuel, bringing over 15 years of experience in international commercial and investment arbitration. She has represented multinational groups, public entities, and States in high-value disputes, particularly across the energy and construction sectors in Europe and Africa. Lacoste has served as counsel and arbitrator under ICC, ICSID, SCC, and UNCITRAL rules and frequently represents clients in arbitration-related litigation before the French courts. Her addition strengthens Eversheds Sutherland’s 200-strong global arbitration team, which operates across 70 offices worldwide.
The firm’s latest appointments follow a series of high-profile hires in its disputes, advisory, and international practices. The Construction team recently welcomed John Lurie and James Holden, expanding coverage across the UK, Middle East, and Africa. Additional hires include Lauren Morrison in Scotland, Kim O’Neill and Lisa Boyd as partners in Dublin and Belfast, and Seán Scally and Chelsey O’Doherty as partners in the Energy & Infrastructure team in Dublin.
Eversheds Sutherland has also expanded its global Disputes offering with key additions such as Lambros Kilaniotis from Quinn Emanuel, now leading the firm’s Competition Litigation team, and Joaquin “Jack” Terceño from Freshfields in Tokyo, who enhances the firm’s international commercial and investor-State arbitration capabilities.
These strategic hires reflect Eversheds Sutherland’s ongoing investment in cross-border talent and its commitment to delivering comprehensive, integrated services to clients operating across multiple jurisdictions and sectors.
