EVERSION Technologies has raised €2.3 million in an investment led by family office Kammerer Holding and the opportunity capital fund of Kreissparkasse Biberach.
The financing also included participation from venture capital firms, family offices, existing investors and business angels.
Founded in 2023, EVERSION is developing technology designed to identify connections between footwear, movement patterns and musculoskeletal pain.
The company noted that musculoskeletal conditions are the most common cause of sick leave in Germany. According to EVERSION, the underlying cause of pain is not identified in approximately 85% of cases, leaving many patients with treatments that focus primarily on symptoms.
EVERSION believes footwear can contribute to improper loading of the feet, potentially affecting the knees, hips and back. Its system uses everyday movement measurements to identify these patterns using individualized data.
The company combines its everyday measurement technology with 0° soles, providing recommendations based on a person’s movement patterns rather than a static footprint assessment.
EVERSION plans to use the funding to advance its technology and continue expanding its approach to analyzing and addressing musculoskeletal complaints.
KEY QUOTES:
“When we started in 2023, we were driven by a simple conviction: musculoskeletal complaints are the most common reason for sick leave in Germany, and yet we almost always only treat the symptoms. Too many people have to come to terms with their pain because no cause is found in about 85%.”
“With our concept of everyday measurement and the 0° soles, we offer exactly that: an answer to pain that is based on your individual movement data instead of a static standard footprint.”
“This round is more than just financing. It is a strong signal of trust in us, and we are deeply grateful for that. We are just getting started, and we are more than motivated and excited about everything that comes next.”
