EVI Industries announced it has completed the acquisition of Belenky, an Akron, Ohio-based distributor of commercial laundry products that also provides installation and maintenance services. The transaction marks the thirty-second commercial laundry business to join EVI’s expanding network.
Belenky is a fifth-generation family-owned business led by Rob Minster, Emily Prioletti, and Mike Prioletti. The company operates with a team of 17 employees and has built longstanding customer relationships through its focus on service and reliability.
The acquisition strengthens EVI Industries’ presence in Ohio while adding an experienced team with deep regional relationships. Under EVI’s operating model, Belenky will continue to operate under its existing name and from its current facility, with its team remaining in place. Financial terms were not disclosed beyond noting that the consideration for the acquisition was paid in cash.
EVI Industries plans to integrate Belenky into its broader enterprise platform, which includes technologies and operating systems designed to improve efficiency, speed, and scalability across its network of businesses. The company believes the addition of these capabilities will support Belenky’s growth and enhance the customer experience.
The transaction aligns with EVI’s long-term buy-and-build strategy focused on partnering with established businesses, maintaining local leadership teams and company cultures, and supporting growth through operational resources and equity-based incentives.
Through its subsidiaries, EVI Industries provides distribution, advisory, and technical services for commercial laundry operations. The company supports customers with planning, design, and consulting services and sells or leases equipment including washing, drying, finishing, material handling, water heating, power generation, and water reuse systems. EVI also supplies parts and accessories and operates a network of technicians providing installation, maintenance, and repair services to retail, commercial, industrial, institutional, and government customers.
