Evolution Data Centres: Zero Two Joins As Strategic Shareholder

By Amit Chowdhry • Aug 13, 2025

Evolution Data Centres, a leading sustainable data centre company in Southeast Asia, has received an investment from Zero Two, a digital infrastructure development and investment company based in Abu Dhabi.

This investment will provide funds to help build hyperscale-ready data centres in key markets across Southeast Asia. This marks Zero Two’s first investment in the region since its launch in 2022.

As part of this deal, Zero Two will share control with Warburg Pincus, forming a strong partnership to support Evolution’s growth.

This investment follows Warburg Pincus’s initial investment in 2022, which aimed to develop and grow sustainable hyperscale data centres in fast-growing Southeast Asian markets.

Since then, Evolution has expanded its operations in Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam, using renewable energy from Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with top renewable energy providers.
