Evolve Private Wealth has appointed Zico Parmar as chief operating officer, strengthening the leadership team of the independent wealth management firm as it continues its nationwide expansion and operational buildout.
The Los Angeles-based firm, which serves high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, said Parmar will lead operational strategy and help scale the firm’s infrastructure to support its next phase of growth. The appointment comes during a period of significant development for Evolve, including a recent rebrand and new senior leadership additions as the firm expands its national platform.
Parmar most recently served as managing director at IEQ Capital, where he helped transform the firm from an early-stage startup into a registered investment advisor overseeing $42 billion in assets under management. During his tenure, he led initiatives to build and scale firmwide operational infrastructure and supported consolidation of the enterprise technology platform.
His appointment follows other recent changes at Evolve. In February, the firm announced the addition of Brett Cohen, formerly of Morgan Stanley, as managing partner. That announcement came shortly after the firm completed a rebrand from SLK Private Wealth as it continued to position itself as a rapidly expanding independent advisory firm.
Parmar began his wealth management career in 2014 at First Republic Investment Management – Luminous, where he established and led a sub-divisional back-office team that supported the group’s expansion from $7 billion to $15 billion in assets under management. He later joined IEQ Capital, where he advanced from a temporary position to managing director while helping modernize operational processes and automate workflows designed to support long-term scalability.
In his new role at Evolve, Parmar will focus on building a scalable operational platform to improve advisor productivity and enhance the client experience. He plans to introduce new technology vendors and expand the firm’s operational capabilities, including data analytics and client-facing operations teams.
Among the initiatives he plans to implement is the introduction of Dispatch, a platform designed to help financial advisors synchronize client data across multiple systems without relying on custom-built integrations that are typically used by large financial institutions. Parmar will also work with the firm’s partners to build additional back-office capabilities aimed at improving service delivery and operational efficiency.
Founded in 2022 by partners who departed Wells Fargo Advisors, Evolve Private Wealth is an independent, employee-owned advisory firm focused on delivering personalized financial planning and investment solutions for affluent families across the United States.
