Evos Raises $9 Million Pre-Seed Co-Led By Uncork Capital And Field Ventures For Autonomous Industrial Operators

Evos has emerged from stealth with $9 million in pre-seed funding to expand its platform for building autonomous AI operators for small and mid-sized businesses across physical industries. The round was co-led by Uncork Capital and Field Ventures, with participation from Crosslink Capital, Utopia Capital Management, Sandwith Ventures, and angel investors. Evos plans to use the funding to grow its team and bring its autonomous operators to more businesses across industries including manufacturing, transportation, logistics, and other parts of the physical economy.

Founded in 2026 and based in New York, Evos has developed what it calls an Agentic Operations Platform. Its operators learn how experienced employees make decisions and then perform those functions directly within the software systems a business already uses.

Rather than relying primarily on written instructions, Evos says its operators learn from employee behavior, including decisions and recurring patterns. An operator only takes over a function autonomously after its decisions consistently align with those of the relevant team. Businesses can determine the level of autonomy, ranging from requiring human approval at every step to allowing an operator to manage a function independently.

Evos says its self-service platform can move from discovery to deployment in about 24 hours, compared with implementation projects that can take consultants or systems integrators nine to 18 months. The company describes its deployment model as the “Trifecta”: one hour with company experts, a working operator the following day, and measurable results within a month.

The company has already begun demonstrating the model with customers. One freight brokerage is using an Evos operator to audit every less-than-truckload carrier invoice against its transportation management system. During its first two months, the operator made nearly 3,500 audit decisions with 97% accuracy and closed more than $600,000 of invoice value during the most recent five-week period.

Evos also said it surpassed $1 million in annual recurring revenue just four weeks after going live. The company sees an opportunity among smaller industrial businesses where institutional knowledge is frequently concentrated among long-tenured employees and may be difficult to replace as those workers retire.

In the coming weeks, Evos plans to formally launch its platform under the name Workhorse, positioning it as a digital workforce designed specifically for businesses operating across physical industries.

KEY QUOTES:

“The most capable system in many of these businesses is the person who has been there 20 years, and what they know has never been written down. An Evos operator learns the job from these people, improves on it, and proves it can match them before it takes on any work by itself. Our goal is to put that expertise on every job, every day, so these businesses can run like the best in the world do.”

Urav Shah, Founder And CEO Of Evos

“Evos has helped us revolutionize our billing process with zero upfront investment, and also at an impressively fast speed measured in days and weeks. It’s increased our accuracy and dramatically increased efficiency, which has ultimately led to a better experience for our customer base. The performance of the operator has given us confidence and excitement to continue to add to the functionality and explore new possibilities. Adding Evos to the stack has been a terrific thing for our Company, and we’re excited to continue to grow our partnership.”

Mike Chalfant, President Of MyFreightWorld

“For decades, software sold to industrial businesses has helped people organize and track work, but it has stopped short of doing the work. Evos changes that. Its autonomous operators learn the judgment behind how a business runs, work within existing systems, and take ownership of entire operational functions. The speed at which Urav and his team have turned that vision into measurable customer value is exceptional, and we believe Evos can become the operating layer for the physical economy.”

Richard Kerby, Partner At Field Ventures

“Most software helps industrial businesses keep track of their work, but for the first time, Evos is helping them get it done. What stood out to me immediately is how quickly teams are putting Evos’s autonomous operators to work on core parts of their business without a long technology roll out. That puts powerful technology within reach of businesses that software has long overlooked. Urav is one of the most impressive founders I’ve worked with, and we’re thrilled to back him.”
