Evotrex, a California-based outdoor innovation company, announced that it has exited stealth with $16 million in Pre-A funding to support the commercialization of what it calls the world’s first power-generating RV trailer. The product will be publicly unveiled on January 6 at CES 2026 in Las Vegas.
Xstar Capital led the funding round with participation from Unity Ventures, Kylinhall Partners, Vision Plus Capital, and the founders of Anker Innovations. The capital will be used to expand Evotrex’s engineering and product development teams while preparing for the market introduction of its debut RV trailer.
Evotrex is positioning its product as a new standard for off-grid outdoor travel. The trailer is designed to generate its own power and manage energy efficiently, providing electricity for all onboard systems without dependence on charging infrastructure or traditional campsite hookups. The company states that the system can also reduce the charging needs of electric tow vehicles during extended travel.
The brand name Evotrex reflects its ambition to combine electric vehicle technology with durability and versatility for extended outdoor living and exploration. The company’s leadership team comprises industry veterans with expertise in electric vehicle engineering, global supply chain management, and consumer energy products, as well as individuals with practical experience in off-grid and adventure travel.
Evotrex will continue preparing for the product’s commercial rollout through 2026, building partnerships across manufacturing and distribution channels while growing its community of early adopters and outdoor enthusiasts.
