Examinetics has acquired Progressive Safety and Jurgiel & Associates. The transactions represent Examinetics’ fourth and fifth safety consulting acquisitions within the past 18 months.

Financial terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed. The deals expand Examinetics’ environmental health and safety services, industrial hygiene expertise, geographic coverage and ability to rapidly deploy credentialed safety professionals.

Progressive Safety provides nationwide on-site safety services through specialists available for temporary or permanent assignments. The company brings experience supporting large infrastructure projects, including data center construction.

The acquisition gives Examinetics greater capacity to respond quickly when customers need safety personnel at active job sites. These professionals can help companies monitor working conditions, comply with applicable requirements and reduce operational and construction-related risks.

Jurgiel & Associates is an occupational safety and environmental health consulting firm founded in 1978. Its addition strengthens Examinetics’ industrial hygiene capabilities and increases the Safety Consulting Division’s national workforce to more than 50 technicians.

Industrial hygiene focuses on identifying, evaluating and controlling workplace hazards that could affect employee health. Services can include exposure assessments, air monitoring, workplace evaluations and recommendations designed to reduce health and safety risks.

Examinetics’ expanded Safety Consulting Division now provides consulting, audits, training, industrial hygiene and safety staffing. The combined organization can support customers from the planning stages of a project through construction monitoring and ongoing workplace safety management.

The acquisitions broaden Examinetics’ ability to serve businesses operating in complex or highly regulated environments. The company said customers have increasingly requested more comprehensive safety services and easier access to specialized expertise.

Examinetics provides occupational health, safety and compliance services across the employee lifecycle. Its offerings include pre-employment screening, annual compliance testing, safety consulting and injury management.

The company supports more than 3,500 clients across over 20,000 locations annually through on-site, near-site and technology-enabled services. Customers use Examinetics to support regulatory compliance, limit productivity losses and collect workplace health information.

Coalesce Capital invests in human capital and technology-enabled business services companies. The private equity firm is supporting Examinetics’ acquisition strategy as the company expands its occupational health and safety platform.
