Express Wash Concepts acquired three CleanHub Car Wash locations in Metro Detroit, expanding its portfolio to 147 express car wash locations across six states.
The acquired locations are in Shelby Township, Sterling Heights, and Oxford.
All three locations will temporarily close while Express Wash Concepts invests in equipment, technology, renovations, and branding upgrades.
The company expects the sites to reopen in mid-November under its Clean Express Auto Wash brand.
Following the conversions, Clean Express will operate 21 locations across Detroit and Flint.
Express Wash Concepts’ broader portfolio includes 63 Clean Express Auto Wash locations.
The company operates under several brands, including Moo Moo Express Car Wash, Flying Ace Express Car Wash, Clean Express Auto Wash, Green Clean Express Auto Wash, and Bee Clean Express Car Wash.
Existing CleanHub unlimited club members will automatically receive access to Clean Express’ Clean-est Ultra Unlimited Wash Club for $20 per month for six months.
Membership billing will be suspended while the acquired sites are closed, and members will receive complimentary unlimited washing at other participating Express Wash Concepts locations during the transition.
The company also plans Free Wash Week events when the renovated locations reopen.
