EY US is investing $100 million in a new employee recognition and rewards program designed to incentivize professionals who develop future-focused skills, adopt advanced technologies, contribute to innovation and deliver measurable business impact.
The initiative represents a shift in how the firm rewards employees as artificial intelligence and other technologies reshape professional services.
Rather than focusing recognition primarily on traditional performance measures, EY US is placing greater emphasis on behaviors and capabilities such as business acumen, judgment, adaptability, technology adoption, experimentation and the ability to turn disruption into business opportunities.
The $100 million commitment is part of a broader multi-billion-dollar investment EY US is making in attracting, developing and retaining employees for what the firm describes as a technology-led, human-powered workplace.
The new rewards framework is structured around three categories.
The first, Everyday Leadership, recognizes actions that contribute to learning, experimentation, collaboration and leadership during everyday work.
The second category, Transformation That Drives Measurable Results, focuses on employees whose contributions generate meaningful change through innovation, technology, disruption or growth.
The third, Game-Changing Impact For The Enterprise, is intended for individuals or teams whose work creates a lasting and material impact on EY US.
The program will also allow employees at all professional levels to recognize colleagues and acknowledge contributions as they occur.
That broader participation is designed to make recognition more immediate while encouraging behaviors EY believes will become increasingly important as its workforce incorporates AI and automation into client work.
EY Americas CEO and U.S. Managing Partner Dante D’Egidio said the investment reflects the skills required to navigate a faster and more complex professional services environment.
The initiative also connects with EY’s broader effort to redesign the employee lifecycle.
That includes changes to early-career experiences, professional development, learning, career pathways and technology-related training.
One recently announced component is the EY Career Residency, which is designed to expand the traditional internship experience by combining practical work, coaching and development of future-focused skills.
The $100 million rewards program reinforces a broader trend across consulting and professional services firms, where AI adoption is increasingly becoming both a technology strategy and a workforce-management challenge.
Firms are investing not only in AI platforms but also in incentives, training and organizational systems intended to accelerate employee adoption and help professionals apply new tools effectively in client environments.
