Fabric Data And TMT Insights Merge To Create Fabric Insights

Fabric Data and TMT Insights have merged to create Fabric Insights, combining data infrastructure, media software, intelligent automation and transformation services under a single company.

The new company is focused on what it describes as intelligent orchestration, connecting data, software, people and artificial intelligence across complex operational workflows.

Fabric Insights combines Fabric Data’s systems of record and data infrastructure with TMT Insights’ orchestration technology and transformation expertise.

Rob Delf, CEO of Fabric Data, will serve as CEO of Fabric Insights.

TMT Insights CEO and Co-Founder Andy Shenkler will become President of Fabric Insights with responsibility for product, technology and operations.

TMT Insights COO and Co-Founder Hannah Barnhardt will serve as Chief Marketing and Engagement Officer.

Kira Baca will continue as Chief Strategy and Growth Officer and oversee the combined customer sales and success organization.

Fabric Insights will be owned by shareholders of both companies, including TMT Insights’ founders and Banneker Partners.

The combined platform is organized around four principal capabilities: foundation, orchestration, transformation and intelligence.

Its foundation includes Xytech X2 and Fabric’s Origin portfolio, consisting of Studio, Nexus and Insights, which provide systems of record and operational data.

TMT’s Polaris and Focus platforms provide the orchestration layer, connecting people, processes and technology while generating operational insights.

The transformation component includes consulting and implementation services designed to redesign business processes, integrate technology and manage organizational change.

Fabric Insights’ intelligence layer includes AI capabilities, agent-ready APIs and Model Context Protocol endpoints designed to support automation and exception-based processing while maintaining human oversight.

Media and entertainment will initially remain the company’s core market.

TMT’s platforms are used by organizations including Sky, BBC Studios, Crunchyroll and A+E Global Media.

Fabric’s 2024 combination with Xytech Systems expanded its operating and broadcast software footprint to more than 380 customers globally.

Fabric subsequently launched X2 in April 2026 as part of the modernization of the Xytech platform.

The combined company sees longer-term opportunities to extend its orchestration model into other industries with complex operations.

KEY QUOTES:

“We’ve spent years watching the industry add more systems and more technology in an effort to make increasingly complex operations simpler. What’s become clear is that the answer isn’t another system, it’s better orchestration across all of them. Fabric brings the authoritative data, business logic, and foundational platforms that operations rely on. TMT brings the orchestration layer and a team with deep expertise transforming how work actually gets done. Bringing those capabilities together creates something uniquely suited to where we see the market going.”

Rob Delf, CEO of Fabric Insights

“It’s not just a matter of bringing a set of bespoke products together but rather ensuring that their capabilities make it possible to access sets of functionalities across a unified single pane of glass. Going forward that pane of glass is consumed through elegant user experiences and agents alike. The convergence of powerful product capabilities and our professional services give our clients maximum adaptability and the flexibility to move fast, not just the promise of it.”

Andy Shenkler, President of Fabric Insights
