Zignal Labs CEO and co-founder Josh Ginsberg recently joined Facebook as the VP of public affairs marketing. He had officially started at Facebook on November 11, according to PRWeek. Ginsberg is going to lead the marketing efforts that are focused on Facebook’s privacy controls, election security, and community standards enforcement. And
Zignal Labs cofounder and president Adam Beaugh is succeeding Ginsberg as the CEO. And Ginsberg will continue to be involved with Zignal as a strategic adviser.
Ginsberg was the CEO of Zignal Labs for over eight years. And he launched the company in 2011 with Beaugh and chairman Jim Hornthal. Ginsberg’s experience at Zignal Labs made him a “perfect fit” for this role at Facebook said a company spokesperson.
A couple of months ago, Zignal Labs hired David Atlas as CMO (previously the CMO at Persado and managing partner at Collective Gain). And Zignal Labs also hired Jennifer Granston has the company head of strategy & insights. Plus Zignal Labs also promoted Jonathan Dodson to chief technology officer and Aaron Hayes-Roth to VP of business and corporate development.
Ginsberg had also worked on three presidential campaigns, including Mitt Romney’s campaign in 2008 and the 2000 and 2004 Bush-Cheney campaign.
