Factory appointed Connor Maloney as Head of Federal to lead the AI software development company’s expansion into government and public-sector markets. Maloney joins Factory from Rubrik, where he served as Vice President of Federal.
He began his career as a Federal Civilian Program Manager at the Department of War before moving into the technology industry.
Maloney subsequently built and led teams at ServiceNow and DataRobot.
At Factory, he will focus on introducing the company’s autonomous software development platform to federal agencies operating in secure and highly regulated environments.
Factory’s technology allows software engineers to define objectives and govern outcomes while its software systems handle execution and ongoing improvements.
The company’s platform is built around model independence, allowing customers to select AI models based on their requirements.
Factory also emphasizes sovereign intelligence, enabling organizations to determine where sensitive engineering information is stored and processed.
Its deployment options include public cloud, private cloud, government environments, on-premises deployments, and fully air-gapped installations.
Factory recently raised $200 million at a $5 billion valuation and expanded internationally with a new office in Japan.
Its enterprise customers include NVIDIA, RBC, Adyen, and Ernst & Young.
