FactSet has announced the acquisition of BCC Group International, a financial software development firm specializing in cloud-native and hybrid market data distribution platforms. The acquisition marks a milestone in the expansion of FactSet’s Real-Time Solution Suite, strengthening its market data management capabilities and building on an ongoing collaboration between the two firms since 2021.
Through the acquisition, FactSet brings bccg’s ONE Platform solution into its Real-Time Solution Suite, giving clients deployment flexibility without the overhead of monolithic systems. FactSet said the deal responds to a shift in market data infrastructure needs, as trading moves toward 24-hour operations, AI reshapes workflows, and regulators raise the bar on cross-vendor governance, leaving firms building expensive workarounds for systems never designed to be open, modular, or cloud-ready.
Together, FactSet and bccg will offer an open ecosystem with governed access, combining exchange feeds, third-party content, and proprietary data in a single environment with centralized entitlements management, compliance reporting, and cost controls. The combination also brings API-first integration designed to connect to existing workflows, flexible cloud, on-premises, or hybrid deployment options built around bccg’s modular ONE Platform architecture, and a managed solution offering full-service operations with high availability and market data management optimization.
The acquisition unites FactSet’s 25 years of real-time data investment with bccg’s modern distribution architecture, giving clients a single, accountable partner for both content and infrastructure. FactSet said the transaction is not expected to have a material impact on its financial results.
