San Francisco mobile entrepreneur Dale Larson has proposed to his girlfriend C Compiler developer Laura La Gassa. As part of the wedding invitation planning, the two of them hired Yiyung Lu to make a design.
The wedding invitation features two penguins kissing each other and forming a heart with their beaks and chest. The wedding invitation is dubbed “Win Penguins,” a play off of Yiyung’s other famous drawing that appears on Twitter.com when they are server capacity called “Fail Whale.”
Dale was holding his iPhone in one hand and the ring in the other hand when he bent down on one knee. Laura said “Yes” over Twitter. Dale proposed to Laura at Harry McCracken and Marie Domingo’s “Tech the Halls” party.
