Fasset announced that it has raised a $51 million Series B funding round with participation from SBI Group, Investcorp, Arz Portföy, and several additional strategic partners. The company said the new capital will support the expansion of Fasset’s “Own Network,” an AI-enabled financial infrastructure layer designed to connect banks, payment companies, telecommunications providers, on/off-ramp partners, and financial institutions across the Morocco-to-Malaysia corridor and other emerging markets.

According to Fasset, the company has focused on building financial infrastructure in underserved and overlooked markets over the past several years, driven by demand from users across more than 125 countries. The company highlighted the challenges faced by freelancers, entrepreneurs, families, and small business owners in emerging markets who often lack access to reliable financial tools and infrastructure because of geographic or economic limitations.

Fasset said the funding will help accelerate the development of cross-border financial connectivity and ownership infrastructure, with a long-term vision centered around making global financial participation more accessible. The company noted that its network is intended to enable more seamless movement of money and value across borders while supporting the broader adoption of stablecoins and tokenized real-world assets in everyday financial activity.

The company added that it believes future financial systems will become increasingly interconnected, allowing users in emerging markets to access global financial tools with the same ease as users in more developed financial centers such as New York and Singapore.

Fasset emphasized that its broader mission is focused on expanding economic participation and improving access to opportunity, savings, investment tools, and financial ownership for underserved populations globally.
