FAZE Security has emerged from stealth with $6 million in seed funding led by New Era Capital Partners, with participation from Lockstep VC.
The cybersecurity company has already reached 50 enterprise customers, including several Fortune 500 companies, and said annual recurring revenue has increased approximately 20-fold during the past 18 months.
FAZE develops an Offensive Security Orchestration platform centered around what it calls an Agentic Red Team.
The system uses autonomous AI agents trained on proprietary attack data from thousands of white-hat hackers to continuously test customers’ web applications, APIs and cloud environments.
Rather than ranking vulnerabilities primarily according to theoretical severity, FAZE agents attempt to exploit exposures and rank findings based on demonstrated business impact.
Each finding includes proof of exploitability, an assigned owner and a remediation path. The platform then automatically retests the exposure until the exploit no longer succeeds.
FAZE said customers report close to zero false positives and more than 50% faster mean time to remediate compared with scanners and point-in-time penetration testing.
The company was previously known as CYTRIX.
KEY QUOTES:
“FAZE’s exponential growth is no surprise. It is the direct result of real technological advantage: proprietary data from thousands of white-hat hackers, paired with advanced agentic capabilities across the full offensive cycle, from discovery through re-test. Sustained growth at this pace while serving Fortune 500 security teams is a testament to the strength of the management team. We are proud to back FAZE as it redefines offensive security.”
