Fazeshift announced that it has raised $17 million in Series A funding led by F-Prime, bringing the company’s total funding to $22 million. Investors in the round also included Gradient, Y Combinator, Wayfinder, Pioneer Fund, Ritual Capital, and additional angel investors.
The company develops AI-native software designed to automate accounts receivable operations through autonomous AI agents that execute workflows across enterprise finance systems.
According to Fazeshift, the platform automates invoicing, collections, payment reconciliation, customer communication, and financial system updates across ERP systems, CRMs, email systems, and payment platforms.
Fazeshift said its platform currently automates more than 90% of manual accounts receivable tasks across customer deployments.
The company stated that accounts receivable functions remain heavily manual at many enterprises despite being critical to cash flow management, often requiring finance teams to manage spreadsheets, disconnected systems, emails, invoicing processes, and collections workflows manually.
Fazeshift said revenue increased 12-fold over the past year and that the platform now serves dozens of enterprise customers, including eight unicorn companies. Customers include Sigma Computing, Snyk, Meter, and Clipboard Health.
According to the company, the platform has automated more than 9,000 customer communications in a single day for certain customers and helped collect $7.4 million in cash within weeks of deployment.
Fazeshift plans to use the funding to expand product development, scale go-to-market operations, and broaden adoption of its autonomous finance platform.
The company said its longer-term strategy includes expanding beyond accounts receivable into a broader AI-driven CFO software platform designed to automate core financial operations workflows.
KEY QUOTES:
“Finance teams are still spending days reconciling a single payment across hundreds of invoices, or logging into portals over and over just to check if something has been posted. This is critical work that remains largely unsolved by software. Fazeshift changes that by operating these workflows directly with AI, starting with accounts receivable, and helping teams transition to an AI-native way of working.”
Caitlin Leksana, CEO And Co-Founder, Fazeshift
“Revenue operations sit at the heart of every business, yet Accounts Receivable remains one of the most manual and underserved areas in finance, even as other parts of the CFO stack have modernized. The first wave of AR software relied on rigid, rule-based systems that still required so much manual intervention. With the rapid advancements in LLM and agent capabilities, Fazeshift is going after a massive, largely untapped opportunity with true automation thanks to its context and action layer that transforms financial workflows.”
