FCH has completed the acquisition of Axiflow Technologies, a specialist in sanitary twin-screw pump solutions serving the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. The transaction expands FCH’s presence in hygienic process applications and strengthens its position as a technology-driven manufacturer in high-purity fluid handling.
Axiflow is recognized for its proprietary twin-screw pump technology engineered for demanding sanitary environments that require product integrity, operational reliability, and cleanability. Twin-screw pumps are widely used in applications involving viscous or shear-sensitive products, where precision and hygienic design are critical. By integrating Axiflow’s technology into its platform, FCH broadens its ability to support customers with complex, high-performance process requirements.
Under the terms of the transaction, Axiflow will continue operating with commercial autonomy, maintaining its existing sales organization, customer relationships, and technical focus. Its engineering and manufacturing teams will collaborate with FCH’s broader technical resources to enhance application support, expand product development capabilities, and ensure long-term product availability.
Executives said the acquisition reflects FCH’s ongoing strategy of investing in proprietary technologies that serve hygienic and high-performance process markets. The company provides engineered sanitary and high-purity flow components for critical applications across food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and data cooling industries.
The deal marks the ninth acquisition since Audax Private Equity acquired FCH in 2022. Audax, a middle market investment firm with offices in Boston and San Francisco, has pursued a Buy & Build strategy aimed at expanding FCH’s technological capabilities and market reach through a combination of organic growth initiatives and add-on acquisitions.
With Axiflow’s addition, FCH deepens its portfolio of hygienic fluid handling solutions, reinforcing its ability to deliver integrated, reliable systems for customers operating in regulated and performance-critical environments.
