Feldwerke: €12 Million Financing Secured To Scale Agri-PV And Battery Storage Portfolio Across Germany

Feldwerke announced that it has secured a €12 million revolving credit line from a French debt fund to accelerate the deployment of a 100MW Agri-PV portfolio across Germany over the next 12 months.

Founded in 2023, the company focuses on integrating agricultural production with renewable energy infrastructure through Agri-PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS). Feldwerke said the financing will support the expansion of its growing pipeline of projects while advancing its long-term target of building 1GW of capacity by 2030.

The company has already realized more than 20MW of Agri-PV capacity, including one of Southern Germany’s largest Agri-PV installations located in Oberndorf am Lech. Feldwerke currently has around 50 projects in development, representing more than 400MW of potential capacity.

Feldwerke views the financing as a sign that Agri-PV is increasingly being recognized as an emerging infrastructure asset class, enabling renewable energy generation and active agriculture to coexist on the same land.

The company said the additional capital will provide greater flexibility to scale construction activities efficiently as demand for integrated renewable energy and agricultural solutions continues to grow across Europe.

KEY QUOTE:

“For us, this is more than a financing milestone. It’s a signal that Agri-PV is becoming a serious infrastructure asset class — combining renewable energy generation with active agriculture on the same land.”
