Fellow Health Partners announced that it has received a strategic investment from Cleargate Capital Partners to support the company’s next phase of growth and expansion. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Based in Bay Shore, New York, Fellow Health Partners provides revenue cycle management (RCM) services to physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, and healthcare organizations across the United States. The company supports more than 500 clinicians across approximately 50 healthcare organizations and offers services including medical billing, coding, credentialing, compliance, and practice support.
Fellow specializes in serving orthopedic surgery, anesthesia, ambulatory surgery centers, and other physician specialties. The company said it has built its reputation on customer service and deep expertise in complex medical specialties.
Chief Executive Officer Michael N. Brown and the existing management team will continue to lead the business following the investment.
According to the companies, the new capital will be used to accelerate investment in Fellow’s SAVi technology platform and expand workflow automation capabilities designed to improve efficiency for healthcare providers. Cleargate also plans to support Fellow in evaluating acquisition opportunities aimed at expanding the company’s geographic footprint and broadening its service offerings.
Cleargate, a healthcare-focused private equity firm, said Fellow stood out among revenue cycle management providers because of its ability to deliver end-to-end services supported by technology and personalized customer support.
The transaction comes as healthcare providers increasingly seek solutions to address growing administrative complexity, optimize reimbursement, and improve financial performance. Fellow said its services are designed to reduce administrative burdens while helping clients enhance collections and streamline operations.
