Fiduciary Trust Company has named Doris Meister President and CEO as part of a leadership transition at the 140-year-old private wealth management and trust firm. Meister succeeds Austin Shapard, who served as President and CEO for 12 years and will transition to an advisory position through the end of 2026.
Meister previously served as Fiduciary Trust Company’s Executive Chair and has more than 35 years of financial services experience.
Before joining Fiduciary, she was Chair and CEO of Wilmington Trust. In her new role, Meister plans to continue investing in the firm’s employees, technology, investment capabilities, and client experience.
Shapard will work with Meister and the broader leadership team during the transition.
